Rental Racing

Requirements

Minimum age is 14 yrs. Exceptions made for 10-13yr. olds who have successfully completed the PGP Junior Racer course. Call to schedule your Junior Racer class today!

Any Drivers under the age of 18 years old must have their parent or LEGAL guardian present at the track in order to sign the waiver. (Drivers may be required to show I.D. for proof of age)

All drivers MUST wear closed-toe shoes

Racing options

PGP Motorsports Park utilizes a fleet of 40 Italian-built Birel N35 rental karts. The N35 karts are equipped with 9hp Honda 4-Stroke engines, to propel drivers at up to 50mph around our .82 Mile purpose built race track.

Arrive and Drive

Ready to get out on track, but not sure where to start? Our arrive and drive karting sessions are the perfect starting point.

With approximately 13 minutes of on-track time per session, you will no doubt improve your lap times with each session!

And remember, as always – we run arrive and drive sessions year-round, rain or shine!

Note: Minimum age is 14yrs. for all rental racing. Drivers 14-17 years of age must have THEIR parent present at the track the entire time

Rental League Racing

Saturday mornings are host to our popular Rental Kart League Racing making a perfect progression from drop-in open session racing to organized, competitive, gridded up racing. This is your opportunity to get in on the fun and excitement of an affordable, thrilling go karting competition at an affordable cost! All Rental Kart League Racing events are open to the public and no previous racing experience is required, nor is a track competitive license required to race in these events. We provide the karts, fuel, tires, helmets and a fabulous racing venue. Come to all races or pick and choose those you can make it to. With PGP’s league racing there is no commitment required to race the entire series, but once you’ve tried it you may be hooked!

Here’s how it works:

Our new league format will do away with the “Pro” and “Pro-Am” categories in favor of a single 40 kart category ranked by qualifying and heat race finishing positions

The qualifying session will determine which of the two heat races you will race in. The top ten finishers of each heat race will transfer into a 20-minute main event and the bottom ten racers will transfer into a 20-minute last chance qualifier. The top four finishers of the LCQ will also transfer into the main event. Championship points will be awarded based on main event finishing positions.

Registration per race will be $99 for members and $109 for non-members. Season passes will be available for $649 and will include all 8 Summer league events and one FREE endurance race entry that can be used during the Summer League season.

Endurance Rental Racing

You may have what it takes to put down a fast lap in one of PGP Motorsports Park’s Birel rental karts, but can you do it lap after lap after lap? Those that want to find out should grab a couple friends, or come on their own, and head to the Northwest’s premier karting facility for Rental Kart Endurance Racing at PGP.

Here’s how it works:

Teams can consist of one, two or three drivers at a minimum age of 14, with single-person teams getting a special Ironman/Woman registration rate.
Rental Kart Endurance Racing events will include ballast weights to be used to meet minimum weight requirements, closing the gaps between the lighter and heavy drivers.
The field will once again be split between the Ironman Class (single driver), and the Team Class (2-3 drivers), each competing for the overall, and class victory during the 90-minute event.
PGP Rental Kart Endurance Racing will consist of a practice session followed by a straight through 90-minute race using the full .82-mile track. To bring a little strategy into the mix two- 90-second pit stops will be required with competitors switching to different karts at each stop. Kart assignments and starting positions will be made based on a random draw.

Rental Kart Endurance racing is the perfect opportunity to come out and enjoy the super-friendly competition, strategy, and teamwork that go into one of these endurance events.

Due to the high demand of these races, pre-registration is strongly encouraged to reserve your kart. Registration opens via phone two weeks in advance of each race. Each event will start with a mandatory Driver’s Meeting at 8:45 am and racing begins promptly at 9:00 am.

Endurance Racing events are rain or shine and are open to the public with no prior racing experience required. Just give us a call to register!
